HISPANIC PROFESSIONAL WOMEN'S FOUNDATION, INC.

HPWA was created in May of 1990, by a group of successful Hispanic women in the Tampa Bay Area, who noticed a need to have an organization to enhance the lives of Hispanic women. In 2019, the Hispanic Professional Women's Foundation, Inc. (HPWF) a 501(c)3, organization, was established to serve as the fundraising arm of HPWA.  Both organizations share the mission “to enhance the image of professional Hispanic women and to promote the value of a higher education.” This is accomplished through professional development, mentorship, and scholarships. HPWF coordinates annual events and other fundraising efforts to fulfill its mission.
