Mentor Application

MENTORSHIP PROGRAM: MENTOR APPLICATION

The Hispanic Professional Women's Association (HPWA) Mentorship Program provides an opportunity for accomplished professionals to inspire, guide, and empower the next generation of Hispanic women leaders.

Running annually from September through May, the program connects professional women with students pursuing higher education through meaningful mentoring relationships focused on leadership development, career exploration, personal growth, and professional success.

As a mentor, you will have the opportunity to share your experiences, knowledge, and professional insight while helping a mentee navigate academic and career-related goals. Through your guidance and encouragement, you can make a lasting impact on a future leader while also expanding your own network and leadership skills.

MENTOR CRITERIA

  • Demonstrate a positive attitude and professional demeanor.

  • Attend at least one (1) HPWA professional development session during the program year.

  • Attend at least three (3) mentorship program meetings or events.

  • Maintain an active HPWA membership.

  • Commit to meeting with your assigned mentee regularly (minimum of once per month).

  • Serve as a positive role model and advocate for personal and professional growth.
