Scholarship Application

 

 

HISPANIC PROFESSIONAL WOMEN’S ASSOCIATION, INC., (HPWA) as part of its goal to enhance the image of professional Hispanic women through education promoting professional and personal growth, proudly presents its mentoring and scholarship program.


A MENTEE in the HPWA mentoring and scholarship program you will have the opportunity to be mentored as you strive to obtain a college degree. Mentees will be required to attend professional development sessions and will have the opportunity to be paired with a mentor at their place of business.

Mentees participating in the program may be eligible to receive a scholarship from HPWA to a higher education institution.All scholarships applications will be reviewed and awarded in Spring 2021.


Scholarship Criteria:
-High academic achievement of a 3.00 gpa or higher
-Submission of two (2) letters of reference from a teacher, Professor or employer
-Submission of student transcripts
-Attend at least four (4) monthly meetings and two (2) Professional meetings
-Must be a student member $30
-One-page essay on why you deserve the scholarship

The deadline to submit your scholarship application is March 31st, 2021. We onlly award scholarships once a year during the spring semester.
